Exciting News!!!

Hillesley Community Pub Limited has appointed new tenants to run The Fleece!  Rod Undy and Karen Mcgeogh will be taking over the Fleece as from 5thSeptember.  This is an exciting new chapter in the story of our community pub, and we are all excited to welcome Rod and Karen.

In the run up to their arrival we will only be serving food from Wednesdays to Sundays, with guest chef Trevor Harris in charge of the kitchen.

A Warm Welcome guaranteed

The Fleece is a traditional, friendly Cotswolds village pub serving local real ale and meals seven days a week. The Cotswold Way passes very close by, making The Fleece a popular stop off for walkers.  Also nearby are Westonbirt Arboretum and Badminton, home of the famous Horse Trials.

Food & Drink

We pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome and the friendliness of our team. We serve food every day at both lunch times and evenings.  There is a fixed menu (see Food) and a daily specials board, as well as special offers.  Our meals are largely home made and feature locally sourced fresh produce.  We aim for consistently good quality at reasonable prices.  We also offer a takeaway service on most items.

We serve a variety of real ales, primarily locally-brewed, alongside a range of lagers, cider and soft drinks.  We offer an extensive wine list and freshly ground barista coffee.

An inclusive pub

We welcome all comers including families.  Dogs are also welcome so long as they are under control and on a lead.  We request that you do not take dogs into the lounge.  Walkers are asked to leave muddy boots outside or in the porch.

We run activities all year round, including celebrations of high days and holidays, as well as major cultural and sporting events.

See the What's On page for details, and join our mailing list ('Get Involved') to be kept abreast of the constant developments

We guarantee a warm welcome and a friendly ambience whether you are a regular, a passing visitor, or just dropping in for a good cup of coffee (we also provide free WiFi).  We’d love to see you.
